Story - What is the big, simple idea: a story you can tell in two sentences.

 

 

MAIN ELEMENTS OF STORY

Setting - time and location
Plot - sequence of events to unfold the story
Conflict - the characters struggle
Character - The person or the characteristics of a person in a story
Point of view - Angle from which the story is told
Theme - the author's underlying meaning of the story
