Quickstart Blender

 

Each time you start Blender it would be optimal for the program to boot with the same layout.

 

Create a new folder; say on the desktop in the lab. In that folder, create five more folders to look like the following:

blender directory will hold the .blend files and following folders    /render sub directory will hold rendered files.

/render

 

 

Open Blender.

 

LMB "File / Save As" and save the current blend file in "Desktop / blender " Directory

 

LMB (Left Mouse Button) "File / Save Default Settings"

 

LMB "File / Save"

 

At the end of the session copy the blend folder from the desktop onto a CD or USB Flash Memory card.
