Lay out semester from syllabus
      Read entire syllabus

      Emphasis purchase of book.

 

Media Timing
      Film 24 fps (frames per second)
      Video 30 fps (60 fields)

 

 

Hands on – setting keyframes in Blender

Open two windows, 3D Front View and IPO view

 

In the 3D view

      Add / Mesh / UV sphere (Object MODE)
      Panel Buttons – Scene / Render (F10)
      Anim Panel – set END to 30 (START should already be at 1, be sure FPS is set to 30)

In the IPO view

      Zoom out to see frames 1 - 30 (NUM - , MMW or View Zoom out)
      LMB to move the time bar
      Go to Frame 1 / I Key / Loc
      Go to Frame 30 / I Key / Loc
      Go to Frame 15 / G Key Z Key, move the ball up / I Key / Loc


In the 3D view
      Alt A (Plays animation - ESC to stop) ~Viola, animation

In the IPO view
      Change the curve interpolation
      Set to Bezier / Tab Key / adjust handles

      Replay to see how the curve changes the animation
